Mint Restaurant was born following a substantial redevelopment of a mens tailors, Mint was a successful neighbourhood restaurant located in Little Aston in Sutton Coldfield. Alongside the restaurant, Mint excelled in outside corporate catering, clients including Gateley UK, Handlesbank, Begbies Traynor, De Montford Fine Art and Coca Cola

Corporate events up to 200 guests including AON, Deloitte, Credit Suisse and Tradition UK.Stay was sold for a profit in 2008.

Following my graduation with a BA HONS Degree in International Hospitality Management and subsequent travels around the world working in a plethora of different restaurants and hotels, with the support of my family I acquired my first business in Nottingham.Hotel Des Clos had fallen into administration and it was my desire to restore the excellent reputation of the 8 bedroom farmhouse conversion with a 30 seater restaurant on the outskirts of Nottingham City Centre.Having assembled an excellent team we achieved a Michelin Star for our cuisine and and AA red star award for our accommodation. Accolades that had not been achieved in Nottingham before at that time.The hotel was then sold in August 2004 for significant profit following the transformation.
