In my role as a Food and beverage assistant I have worked in many different roles within the hotel. Including bartending, serving food, taking orders, assisting with set ups and management of corporate events and assessing health and safety standards around the Golf club bar. I often take a supervisory role when there is a lack of management however I take this in my stride and as an opportunity to develop key skills that apply to the professional working world. I am always public facing meaning my communication skills and dispute resolution skills are highly polished. The intense variation of customer presence in the hospitality industry also means I am highly adaptable and can work in a variety of challenging situations.
