My main focus within my role is to provide a prompt and a very helpful service to our clients. When working alongside electrical engineers and project managers timing can be of the essence especially on what are considered as "shut downs". With the pressure of deadlines looming transparency and accuracy of communication between the customer, our production staff, suppliers and same day couriers is essential to ensuring a quick product turn around. My other tasks include:Quality Control.Building relations with clients and suppliers.Quoting (checking stock/availability, offering competitive pricing).Purchasing.Arranging logistics of import and export shipments.Advising clients on product selection.Assisting with technical queries.Market Research.Shrink Polymer System is ISO 9001:2015 accredited which requires all employees (including myself) to follow a company quality procedure approved by ISOQAR. This ensures that stock control is kept strict, quality of all material received is monitored, customer service is of a high standard, and that all of our products are checked and checked again before they depart from our stores leaving no room for error.
