Enable senior manager accountability for IR decisions and outcomes by providing expert IR advice and counsel to the business regarding strategic and operational matters. Partner with senior managers and HR specialists to deliver an integrated, customer driven and commercially focussed IR function that contributes to achievement of organisational strategy objectives and outcomes. Provide high level and strategic advocacy and representational services on behalf of Energy Queensland at industrial authorities and tribunals, in the successful resolution of industrial disputes and tribunal matters. Proactively support the development, negotiation and implementation of enterprise agreements into the workplace in partnership with management and the human resources team to meet legal obligations and to promote a positive workforce culture. Coaching and support of of advanced IR capability and competence across Energy Queensland’s HR teams where necessary. Provide accurate complex industrial relations advice and interpretation of contemporary industrial relations and human resources issues, relevant legislation and awards, and the practices and procedures of various tribunals and to facilitate implementation at workforce levels. Provide effective advice and assistance to all Management and the People Culture and Safety team on industrial relations and industrial matters specifically relating to policy, strategy and award interpretation to ensure effective management of industrial issues. Contribute to the development of, and project manage the implementation, monitoring, review and reporting of policies, strategies and programs for the achievement of the business objectives of Energy Queensland.
