Current• Manages and supervises all operational and educational programs and staff on campus, which includes 370 students and fifty-five full and part time staff members. In this capacity, oversees curriculum and evaluates staff through continued dialogue, targeted goals and long-term planning.• Responsively monitors instructional growth and improvement across six elementary grade levels through timely feedback and ongoing professional learning to help elevate all staff.• Directs and has enhanced school’s Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) and IEP processes by increasing efficiency and regularity of conversations. Also has continued to expand upon pre-intervention strategies and data analysis. • To meet students’ needs, has implemented an after-school program that in its first year reached a quarter of the school’s population. Then, in its current year, has taken lessons learned to refine instruction and make programming more responsive and targeted. Also created summer program – Cedaredge University – to make summer education more engaging and, ultimately, to better long-term prognoses for at-risk students.• Partners with Little Sprouts, Cedaredge Middle School and Cedaredge High School to build a P-12 experience for students in the community of Cedaredge. • Implements and develops education programs, as CES is currently executing quality instruction of the GoMath! and Core Knowledge Language Arts programs, kindergarten through fifth grade. Understands how to build a program from ground, up.• Directs all school communication and branding, which includes adoption of logo, tagline and parent/stakeholder communication. Has grown parent involvement and participation at Parent Den meetings by 120%.• Oversees multiple budgets, demonstrating both responsiveness to school needs as well as fiscal responsibility.
