The water system includes 17 groundwater wells, 9 pumping stations, 10 reservoirs, 23 pressure zones, and 165 miles of distribution pipeline. The City supplies water to approximately 14,400 customers. The wastewater system consists of approximately 135 miles of 6-inch through 30-inch diameter sewers, and includes 15 sewage lift stations and associated force mains. Managed drainage utility design and surface water modeling projects for public agency and land development clients. Other engineering duties included roadway design, preparing construction contracts, cost estimating, stream restoration design, plan review, and flood control projects.

Performed engineering and design for mining facilities in the western states. Projects included heap leach pad design, slope stability analysis, onsite wastewater treatment systems, fluvial geomorphology investigations, watershed effects analysis for U.S. Forest Service, and water sampling quality assurance plans.

Task manager for municipal NPDES Phase I stormwater permit programs for the cities of Portland, Eugene and Gresham. Performed groundwater investigations to determine the effects of pumping by municipal water supply wells on the movement of a nearby contaminate plume. Designer and construction manager for urban watershed restoration projects. Conducted wildlife inventories and prepared NEPA Environmental Assessments.

Conducted erosion control and NPDES permit inspections. Reviewed wastewater treatment system designs. Collected water samples, developed discharge requirements for new facilities, and analyzed discharge permit monitoring data.
