Lead the strategic vision and direction of The Center’s program portfolio: Advocacy & Government Affairs, Arts & Culture, Behavioral Health, Center Youth, Economic Development, HIV/Sexual Health, Case Management, and Patient Navigation to advance all LGBTQ+ communities. Lead the strategy for acquiring mission-oriented public sector contracts at the city, state and federal levels of government to drive the impact and growth of the organization and support the strategy to expand and diversify foundation and major donor fundraising.Lead The Center's city, state and national advocacy work on legislation, policy and budget priorities, government relations, and coalition work, including the New York State LGBT Health and Human Services Network. Leader of the oldest Latine multi-service agency in Connecticut committed to the economic, social, and civic advancement of the Latine communities in the greater New Haven area. Established a strategy of collaborating with constituents to address the diverse needs of the communities served in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner. Created a targeted fundraising plan to generate investment and diversify funding streams to ensure revenue is stable and balanced between public and private sources.Doubled the organizations operating budget, increasing investment into the agency by 35% from public and private sources, and increasing individual giving by 50% over last year.Developed fundraising events strategy, including donor engagement events; open houses; cocktail receptions; developed a sustaining supporter circle and expanded gala strategy that tripled net event revenue. Re-branded the agency with comprehensive marketing materials, including the development of a tagline; department branding; and a unified communications strategy.Working with the Board of Directors on board recruitment and development. Developed New York City’s only emergency pantry program that provides services seven days a week, three hundred sixty five days of the year. Ultimately, developing the program into a single point of entry for all individuals and families coming to NYCP in need of food assistance.
