In 2013 Dan was seconded to the Philippines and spent time with the Philippine National Police and national government institutions, learning and collaborating. Throughout 2014 he was seconded to the College of Policing as a national Frontline Champion, acting as trusted critical friend to the College. Key areas of work were the Code of Ethics, membership, leadership review and evidence based practise. He has been an active member on the College of Policing Membership committee, offering advice to the College board. He has led major change and business development portfolio within policing on Single Online Home (digital public contact, and now with Right Care - Right Person. He is a lead firearms command trainer for the North West Armed Policing Collaboration (NWAPC) and is a cadre TFC. Dan is passionate about evidence based policing and a member of the SEBP.
