As Technology Manager, I led managers of 2 squads, totaling 40 multidisciplinary professionals, from conception to delivery of the ConecTaaS project, a robust, large-scale platform with careful focus on scalability, reliability, and performance, handling 6 million hits/day and $1.5 billion in annual gross sales. It operates on a native cloud architecture, comprising an API Gateway, independent and scalable Backend microservices, a Backend For Frontend (BFF) adapting to frontend needs, a Cache layer to reduce latency and enhance performance, and an asynchronous processing system with message queues to efficiently handle high request volumes.We also integrated machine learning to offer personalized recommendations to customers through predictive consumption and product recommendation models, boosting satisfaction and conversion rates.Regarding security, we used Static (SAST) and Dynamic (DAST) analyses to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of ConecTaaS from its conception. Responsible for Conquest One's international project, leading the complete transition of Alcoa's IT scope from Pittsburgh to Jamalco in Jamaica.. This project involved the full separation of infrastructure and applications, including the creation of independent data centers (primary and DR), as well as the setup and migration of all network infrastructure across 6 locations and cloud services. Additionally, I conducted the creation and review of setup, procedures, processes, and resource allocation and management, identifying improvements in efficiency and effectiveness, both in quick wins and long-term objectives.
