I am responsible for the setup, delivery and management of all aspects of projects within my work stream. More specifically I am responsible for the successful delivery of managed services for Cisco’s EMEAR Marketing Operations.EMEAR marketing is made up of 8 theatres covering 121 countries across Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Russia (EMEAR) with the last fiscal year generating $2B worth of sales leads. My responsibility, is to analyse and document the operational capability and then provide recommendations on how to operate efficiently making best use of internal resource compared to outsourced. The identification of recommendations is based on 3 aspects. Process improvements, organisational structure and financial impacts in respects to 3rd party service provision compared to internal FTE.Cisco governance is not as rigid as utilities or banking but does place emphasis on stakeholder management and ensuring planning and approval is complete before proceeding. My role is very much a hybrid role covering PM, BA and Architectural but does call upon key subject matter experts when required.Due to the geographical spread of Cisco (US, Europe, Africa, Middle East and Russia) the role of project manager does operate remotely and autonomously which requires discipline to remain delivery focus.

I am responsible for the delivery of Future Williams & Glyn projects and managing resource required to effectively deliver projects to time, cost and quality. Delivery responsibilities are to ensure all projects are resourced accordingly and plans are in place with key milestones are aligned to the programme delivery roadmap.​Governance is key part of my role with my responsibility to ensure all programme change requests are reviewed and impact assessed against my project deliverables. Weekly programme working groups, technology updates, and delivery team updates are provided and delivered by the project manager to ensure all parties are effectively communicated to effectively and clearly.Like most PM roles I am responsible for the setup, delivery and management of all aspects of projects within my work stream.

As Project Manager I am responsible for the delivery of Wren Living technology projects and managing the Agile delivery teams. Success is measured against timeline, budget, quality, stakeholder satisfaction, colleague satisfaction and adherence to process. My responsibilities are to ensure all projects are effectively resourced and manage relationships with a wide range of groups (including all project contributors). I am responsible for managing the work of colleagues & 3rd parties, allocating and utilising resources in an efficient manner and maintaining a co-operative, motivated and successful team.My role is multi-faceted: Project set up*Work with the Head of Development, Business stakeholders and development team to understand the initial scope for a new project*Work with Business Analysts and Lead Developers to estimate project effortProject delivery*Responsible for the overall successful delivery of a project, through the complete project lifecycle. This includes ensuring that the project is delivered on time and budget and meets client and technical requirements.*Develop, maintain and manage to project plan, ensuring the right balance of scope, budget, timeline and risk is in place. *Ensures project is on track, as well as focussing on quality of deliverables, project schedule, stakeholder satisfaction, financial performance, risks, issues and ensuring the Head of Development is aware of any additional efforts and add-on work required. *Organises and chairs regular project team meetings e.g. Iteration 0/scoping meetings, phase kick-off meetings, daily stand ups, Show and Tells etc.*Ensure that all disciplines within the project team (PM, BA, QA, Lead Developer) are working together, understand their goals, have a voice on plans, quality, progress and resolving any cross functional issuesUnderstand and ensure internal, Agile based processes are followed throughout a project by the project team.

CRM Development & Support· Provide a cohesive link between the IT & Commercial functions that use CRM systems.· Work closely with Commercial teams to analyse business needs & recommend the most effective end-solution.· Lead Commercial IT change programmes. Engage external partners as required to meet objectives & deliverables defined by Senior Management.· Ensure maximum benefit is delivered from the CRM system by ensuring business users are highly capable using the system. In pursuit of this goal, provide on-going presentations, training & knowledge transfer to the business.BI Support & Development· Deliver the assigned Commercial reports portfolio accurately & on time (auto-mated).· Proactively analyse Commercial information to ensure users operate at maximum efficiency. Escalate findings to senior management when appropriate.· Ensure appropriate standard tools are utilised to deliver & reconcile management reports.· Encourage a self-service reporting provision by ensuring that the menu of what is available is highly publicised, & the reporting process/technologies are easy to use.· Working with Commercial Directors & FD’s, ensuring that ‘target’ information is exploited in a timely manner e.g. Produce reports which assist in determining bonus status/achievements.Corporate Data Management· Ensure the highest level of Commercial data integrity is maintained by adopting a proactive ‘policing’ role (essential to ensure efficient & effective systems usage).· Work closely with local data coordinators to ensure Product & Customer master data maintenance is delivered right first time (e.g. Product & Customer hierarchies, Customer Groups & Structures, CRM Business Partners etc.).· Work with external partners (who supply Commercial data) to optimise its delivery & format. Ensure minimal data re-processing on data arrival.

The Smart Solution Architect are seen to be the design thought leaders against a specific subset of the Smart programme architectures.Lead and undertake activities required to produce the appropriate quality design deliverables for the Smart Programme, ensuring that they comply with the relevant npower / RWE standards where applicable.Act as Smart Design’s point of contact between the business and Smart design. This is vital to ensure that the on-going operational strategy / change programme and Smart remain aligned.Act as the Smart Design’s point of contact between the SAP delivery programme and the Smart programme in order to ensure that critical Smart design dependencies are managed including alignment of the proposed solution to the Smart design, validation and challenge of SAP design outputs including impact assessments and related costs.Act as the Smart Design’s point of contact with the Smart programme’s activities across all work streams to assure that the on-going delivery aligns with the design.Contribute to the delivery, control and assurance of the Smart design estate on behalf of the Smart Programme.Lead activities including the production of Impact Assessments, Decision Notes etc in relation to change control and design issue resolution. This will include producing and presenting options papers to the Programme Governance bodies in relation to the Change Control process.Integrate with wider change programmes and their respective architecture leads and Design Authorities.Influence stakeholders both within and outside of the programme (to senior management level) in relation to achieving the necessary outcomes in support of Smart design and scope.
