With a previous career as a translator, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge of the French language and Francophone culture with my students. My aim as a professional is to be better today than the day before. With an ongoing MA in teaching and learning, I am committed to using research evidence to inform my instructional practice and applying this to the delivery and design of high quality curriculum materials. My current professional focus is improving my capacity to analyse data in order to leverage improvement in curriculum materials and student outcomes. I am also focused on exploring how second language acquisition research can be better applied to my department’s curriculum and assessment materials.
