I wrote and directed a short film for Broadways. It was nominated for best script and best feature at the end of year awards. Managing cinematographers, actors and an audio assistant was challenging and rewarding. The project's completion was satisfying and a reflection of the careful planning that was put into the creation of the piece.

I contributed to Aber Student Media’s newspaper and radio station. Initially I produced and hosted a specialist show entitled ‘Belly of the Bay’ which received a number of honourable mentions at the years end. I also, wrote a piece on my Diabetes (type 1) in relation to a rally song written by Jonathan Davis. This piece was nominated for best article at the Corbin Awards (2015). I also worked on a radio show that played in the students union entitled ‘Brunch on Bay’, this was a mainstream show which conformed to the conventions of radio. All of these roles were educational and passion inspiring; from following interests, stating what I felt needed to be written to developing presenting skills.

Pearl Uganda is a charity, with the primary focus of improving the lives of Ugandan children. I created Pearl Uganda's website and went on to write articles for the charity. It was a pleasure to work for such a charity
