I am responsible for the full turn-key process of the design, through to installation, of large commercial catering projects throughout the UK.I have an extremely strong skill, space/design planning and 3D block modelling with AutoCad which enables me to produce accurate and detailed layouts, production drawings and photo-realistic visuals.I have expanded my role at the company to incorporate a full interior design process, specifying aspects such as flooring and wall finishes, furniture, fixtures, lighting and various features.I display considerable product knowledge and am able to specify correct items and equipment to ensure the scheme not only works proficiently, but also returns a profit and reduces any potential on-going costs to the company.Duties Include:• Meeting with clients and producing detailed site surveys• Quotations and completion of tender document• Presentations and Tender Evaluation Interviews• Production of AutoCad plans with necessary M&E requirements• Production of 3D design visuals• Production of interior design concepts, mood boards and samples• Interviewing, negotiation and buying from suppliers and manufacturers• Writing of site specific method statements & risk assessments• Creation of company literature, marketing campaigns and web-site

I was responsible for the design, award and delivery of all large commercial catering projects throughout East Anglia. Schemes ranging from £50k-£1m predominantly in the public sector - schools, universities, MoD, hospitals, as well as in the private restaurant and café bar industries.I managed a team of five staff members as well as engaging and mediating with our various engineer, distribution and accounting departments. There was also a large level of supplier and sub-contract control required.Due to the nature of the business it was usual that the design, installation and review processes of various and many contracts will be happening simultaneously, which required enormous control and careful planning; something I would demonstrate on a daily basis.Duties Included:• Managing the Project Department team• Quoting and tender documents• Client presentations• AutoCad plans with M&E services• Control of labour and sub-contractors• Company marketing and web-site• Redevelopment and use of showroom demonstration facilities

Upon meeting with a variety of clients and ascertaining their unique requirements I would design and supply bespoke logo’s, stationary, web-sites and marketing material, working from my own home office in evenings and weekends. Among my clients were home renovation companies, florists, fashion blogs and musicians.

My role, and the main operation of the company, was the design and installation of walk-in coldstores and ancillary refrigeration equipment, primarily for clients such as Waitrose, Co-op and Budgens.Once secured, it was my responsibility to draw up and seek approval of the layout design, procure materials, arrange labour and negotiate all aspects of the project installation.My detailed site surveys were essential with the bespoke nature of the panelling and the extremely limited site time allocated. Site installation would usually last one or two days so it was imperative that with such small margins on the job, I would not let them overrun.
