Current• Participate in hiring and supervising of new employees • Oversee daily operation of CNC lathes, mills, and other tasks• Create, implement, and oversee training program tailored to each employee’s skill level• Apply Lean methodology to all aspect of daily operations, constantly looking for ways to safely improve production of specially machined parts for many different industries• Maintain high standard of quality, adhering to tight tolerances and client specifications from conception through to completed accepted part• Lead daily/weekly meetings keeping all present informed of production rates, lessons learned, and any issues that may have arisen• Make sure all equipment including Lathes, Mills, Swiss turns, etc. are in safe working order prior to use• Run initial test part, altering the program and tooling as needed• Assure all materials and tools are ordered and present prior to each operation• Create and maintain network for all equipment and program database• Manage CNC and milling program database
