Sperry Sails is a well-known sail maker out of Marion, Massachusetts. They make a variety of sails including sales for: ice boats, large schooners, lobster boats, and high speed racing yachts. While employed there, I took sails from rolls of cloth to a finished product. My tasks included running an automated cutter, using industrial sewing machines, and hand stitching fine details on a single sail. Additionally, I also repaired damaged sails and boarded boats to set up rigging and hardware.

AMI Machining is a small manufacturing plant out of Middleboro, Massachusetts. The company focuses on prototyping and small quantity orders for the medical industry. While employed there, I was the supervisor of the Lathe Department. My responsibilities were: to supervise a team of 5-8 employees, write programs using AutoCAM, set-up and fine tune programs at their respective machines, and keep jobs running smoothly and orderly to adhere to deadlines. Upon leaving AMI, I became a freelance lathe programmer for them, and also worked a few times to produce more highly precision parts until the new supervisor was prepared to do so.
