Daniel has over 11 years of Civil Engineering and Environmental consultancy experience in the UK covering the detailed assessment of flood risk from fluvial, pluvial, coastal and groundwater sources as well as the detailed design and engineering of below ground drainage systems, including SUDS. In engineering drainage systems, Daniel is responsible for the full design development, starting from initial site investigations and strategy through to detailed design and onsite installation. This process is aided by his proficiency with the industry standard software package: XP Solutions MicroDrainage.In preparing flood risk assessments Daniel has developed a detailed working knowledge of relevant guidance and legislation. He is also experienced with industry standard hydraulic modelling software packages including Flood Modeller Pro and TUFLOW, having undertaken projects of varying size and complexities for both private and public clients within the residential, commercial, retail and infrastructure sectors. As Principal Consultant within the growing Development Infrastructure team within the North East region, Daniel plays a pivotal role in the management of a number of ongoing schemes, providing technical leadership and expertise for projects of varying complexities throughout the UK and Ireland.
