As Chief Scientist and Technical Director at Peraton Labs, I created a new site and group in the Washington DC metro area, and helped grow the site to over 70 advanced researchers in a range of mission critical areas of operationally relevant research and develop. My role consisted of leading the creation, management, and business of running an advanced research division, while also executing the capture and execution of several advanced research programs as both subject matter expert and principal investigator. My work focused on reasoning under uncertainty, modeling and simulation of the integrated digital domain, cooperative decentralized austere hardware platforms, active network measurement, compiler theory, and advanced learning principles.

As a Scientist with BBN Technologies, I worked on wide range of operational problems and advanced technologies. I both led and contributed to a range of winning business development efforts. I helped develop a team of advanced researchers focused on continued operational success in areas of situational awareness, network sense making, program analysis, cyber metric quantification, risk assessment, automated planning, probabilistic reasoning, model checking, and automated test and evaluation.

As a research engineer with Lockheed Martin, I worked on technology insertion of rapid prototypes into mission critical areas of development and operations. I worked and led a team to develop advanced prototypes in data fusion, collaboration, co-presence, intelligence, human terrain, and force modeling. Exercising a diverse set of program languages, development methodologies, and integration strategies, I was able to help deliver cutting edge solutions to critical problems.

As a software engineering intern with HP, I developed software prototypes that demonstrated the HP product line and its value-add to end customers in their respective markets. This included SIP presence applications, cluster performance management, and gaming applications on both commercial and enterprise class hardware.
