During this transition I took over the sole responsibility for the procurement of the Hard Disk Drives (HDD) and Solid State Disks (SSD) used within the Seagate Systems Storage business. This commodity has the highest spend within the business and thus the greatest impact to business operating performance. The role includes the devolvement of the procurement strategy for HDD and SSD, setup the supply chain of alternative vendors, negotiating terms of trade, qualification of suppliers and management of cost.

A relocation to the south coast enabled me to take this highly visible and strategic role within a blue chip company in a cutting edge dynamic industry.
