  I was local chief and rebuilt the eastside dermatology clinic at Group Health that had been defunct for over 2 years. My major accomplishments included hiring 2 full time dermatologists, as well as supervising a ARNP. I trained a whole new nursing staff which included surgical assistance, basic wound care, giving simple dermatologic advice, and triaging referrals. I revamped the schedule multiple times to accommodate emergency patients and doubled the total number of patients seen. I opened the eastside's first phototherapy program. I started Group Health's first cosmetic clinic. I founded Group Health's first pilot virtual dermatology clinic to better manage an over 4 month waitlist of high risk cancer patients. I was advisor on the pharmacology board and got the 'new biologics' approved on pharmacy formulary for psoriasis, Aldara for SBCC and LMM. I was the solo dermatologist on-call for several years on the eastside and had privileges at Group Health, Overlake and Virginia Mason Med Ctr. I gave many talks to primary care in regards to basic dermatologic disease, as well as how to spot more serious disease, and to write a more effective consult.As a clinician, I consistently scored above the NationalAverage productivity of dermatologists with 120 RVU's. When I left group health, 97% of my patients saw their care as excellent. I performed the most skin cancer surgeries on the eastside, and was number 3 in all of Group Health. I also served as an expert witness in regards to Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis to the Chief of Medicine at Harborview Medical Center.
