Worked in the Data Engineering Group.Build and developed systems for very large scale data ingestion, analysis and delivery. Significant projects included drastic increase in performance of several critical customer facing data pipelines, administration and planning for a business critical Hadoop cluster, and the rearchitecture and deployment of an automated system for ETL ingestion of data from a wide variety of sources for ongoing product builds.

Developed and deployed solutions for the delivery of static image content for the entirety of Amazon.com's primary and secondary websites. Significant projects included ongoing maintenance of the legacy image ingestion pipeline, design of a new image ingestion pipeline, additional development for the system for storing and serving internal meta-data relating to all images served, yearly and quarterly capacity planning for all Media Services owned services, and design and development of a system for invalidating updated images with partnered content distribution networks. Performed tier 1 support for system critical services, including service diagnostic and repair in critical downtime and planned migration scenarios.
