About Daniel Jackson

Luck dropped me into the energy industry, where since 2005 I've been automating, developing, strategizing, making-more-efficient, and generally improving things in the section known as Commercial Pricing (while learning the deregulated energy market). Formally educated in the field of Computer Science, I use my coding experience (VB.NET, Python, various Database systems) to accomplish much of my day-to-day duties in an automated fashion, which allows me to provide assistance in other areas of the business in an informal fashion. During my rise from Analyst to Director, I have reached into all aspects of a Fortune 500 energy provider: customer-facing sales/support, front-office position management, mid-office Risk analysis/reporting, and back-office IT systems/development.
