MAINTENANCE SYSTEMS EXPERTISE: Oversee the fielding’s and Fielding New Equipment Training (FNET) of all new equipment received by subordinate units. Ensure that Supply Support Activity (SSA), unit supply and unit maintenance meets pre-fielding requirements and milestones across all project phases for the transition to GCSS-A. Request and analyze reports from the Standard Army Retail Supply System (SARSS) and the Standard Army Maintenance System-Enhanced (SAMS-E) to determine equipment and supply readiness.SUPPLY STORAGE & DISTRIBUTION MANAGEMENT: Responsible for certifying the acceptance ofmaterial received at the SSA from supply sources (DRMO) or from commercial vendors, and documentingpayments through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). Maintains Standard Army Management InformationSystems (STAMIS) formal records of all property assigned to the Stock Record Account (SRA), primarily using the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) and provides weekly performance statistics to 1st Armored Division, G4. Plans, coordinates and directs the retrograde of repairable components to depotlevel repair activities for repair and return. Works with project managers and original equipment manufacturers (OEM) to establish repair procedures for non-standard commercial-off-the-shelf electronic components. Monitors the shipment of material into and out of National Training Center Fort Irwin and assists with the clearance of goods through customs by providing proof that shipments are in support of the US military; Employs industry best practices to tailor warehousing operations to available facilities in order to maximize the efficient use of storage space and the workforce; Provides guidance to subordinate elements on the policies and procedures for requisitioning, accounting for, repairing and disposing of repair parts and major components.

Oversaw personnel, assignments, and schedules. Directed work priorities and project execution through subordinate supervisors. Reviewed and evaluated performance, approve/disapprove leave requests, and reassign personnel based on mission needs.MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS: Maintenance manager responsible for the serviceability and materialreadiness of the Patriot Missile System. Supervises, trains, and mentors equipment operators in organizational maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair techniques. Manages diagnostic equipment and tools, and constructs and monitors maintenance schedules for over 500 pieces of equipment valued at $40M. Supervised and evaluated 42 maintenance and supply personnel. Responsible for the procurement of commercial off the shelf equipment needed for readiness and deployment operations. Managed retail supply operations using automated systems. Responsible for inventory, storage, and condition of 1200 lines of equipment repair parts valued at $208M. Conducted Battalion inspections to prepare units forFORSCOM G-4 Operational Inspection Program (OIP) and Army Award for Maintenance Excellence (AAME)program.
