After ten years at Jeppesen and 15 years having the same "profile description" I'd thought I'd update it. But I am keeping the old at the end...The latest ten years I have worked as System Architect, Product Owner and Business Consultant/Tech Sales Engineer within the airline industry working with/for ~50 airlines. Mostly, I have been part of sales engagements, presenting and proving our products e.g. demos, proof-of-concepts and pure benchmarks. Also, I have presented at two of the largest crew planning conferences in the world, Crew and Fleet Development Partners and Crew Connect Users' Conference. The latter I MC:ed, 2017.My main drive is to make things (more) efficient through automation and optimization. Sometimes, a process may be needed as a last resort, but I firmly believe that the best process is the one not implemented. Second best; the one that impacts the organization minimally.
