I have worked with computers and IT products personally for 35+ years and professionally for 25+ years. I have an extensive background in Point-of-Sale systems, using Sybase SQL server in a Transactional Database environment. This was as both end-user (IT Manager for a large independent grocery store) and as an installer, tech support, & file conversion specialist of a leading Point-of-Sale system (ECRS). I worked for Florida State University as a Technical Support Specialist and was involved with a large Asset Based Oracle SQL Database (AiM) containing all assets, properties, vendor contracts, utilities, construction, and floor plans for all branches of the university. I worked with SQL to design reports, data requests, setting up views, data analysis and project management. The project I managed and implemented was a MDM off-site server (JAMF). This included 100+ iPhones and iPads that use Apps to directly interact with with said Orcale DB, training for multiple departments of employees, troubleshooting and maintenance, setting up QR codes for all major assets, and full documentation for any predecessor that would take the position after me.I worked for Aderant as a NA Technical Support Specialist. This role involves supporting a global leader in legal business solutions, time and billing, ebilling, and law firm timekeeping. I handle stuff that falls into a more technical nature than a Product Specialist would. This involves supporting our entire suite of products underlying technical nature including customizations, general imports, modifications, user security, and form design of unique nature based on the firm. We utilize internally built tools and applications as well as Transact-SQL, extensive and ongoing training, and large amounts of research and teamwork to provide a higher tier of Technical Support than our competition.My technical experience is high. I have dealt with hardware, software, servers, programming, support, data analysis/conversion/recovery, technical documentation, training, installation, project management, barcode symbology, supervision of IT staff, accounting, business planning and strategy, marketing planning and strategy, department budgets, upper management meetings, and lots more.
