About Daniel Rowinas
Over the course of my 19 years of professional experience, I have spent 8 years working in R&D laboratories as both an engineer and technician. My core tasks have included the implementation of measurement concepts (mechanical, electronic or optical) into mechanical & electrical designs (via CAD softwares like SolidWorks, WSCAD or EPlan). The related chain of economic value added, to take the concept or design to a physical measurement setup or test setup are part of my important tasks. Hands-on mentality is deeply settled in my every day work attuditute.Before that time in R&D I spend my working time to learning and improving my technical skills and competences in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic systems as for example as a technical project lead, system technician for renewable energy systems or even technician in power electronics or industry constructions.My strengths lie in the recognition of complex technical systems and the definition of their interfaces, as well as the facilitation of the cross-team communication necessary when working with such systems.In addition to my strong technical and problem-solving background, I have been very involved with the planning and implementation of budgets, both in terms of operating expenses as well as capital investments.I have significant experience in the area of regulatory compliance, including the maintenance of laboratory equipment according to applicable regulations (e.g., DIN VDE 0100; DGUV Regulation A3). In my early professional years, I was very involved in automation technology, and as a result, permanent process and error analyses became an important part of my skill set. I pride myself on being extremely organized and conscientious in the workplace, as I see the direct correlation with accident prevention, increased efficiency and overall effectiveness in work processes, in line with the 5S methodology. I strongly value reliability, honesty and commitment, and would bring these values with me if I were to join the Specialized team.In my personal life, you will find me at my happiest when I am in the mountains, often cycling, but also hiking and backcountry skiing.
