About Daniel Royall
Recently completed NCFE LEVEL 2 IN THE PRINCIPLES OF TEAM LEADING which I found interesting and will help in my future development.I have worked for Essex and Suffolk water for over 10 years started as meter reader, dmo repairing underground assetts, debt collection and a meter technician. Started here after doing 8 years as a Prison Officer. Prior to working in the prison, I worked for Birds Eye in Lowestoft as a manufacturing technician. This involved setting and running machines to produce different food products. Ensuring health and safety was always adhered to and the product was safe to eat. Just like now when I do anything on the water network it has to be done safely and treated as a consumable product. Within this role it was my responsibility for maintaining the equipment understanding how components work to do the job they need to do. Completed a short six week training course which gave me a good understanding of motors and mechanisms. I was able to de construct motors replacing bearings and re construct them in the same order as de constructing.Prior to this I worked for a large door and window manufacturer again setting up machines and tooling to produce different products to a tight tolerance.Quality control was also high on the agenda making regular checks and adjustments as needed I work solely on my own and I’m aware of the impact that my work has on the wider team. Utilising my IT skills on a daily basis inputting information onto different electrical platforms. I am able to interpret various information to optimise performance this can be information of underground assets or processes.
Listed skills include Public Sector, Local Government, Stakeholder Engagement, Policy, and 21 others.
