I am a registered Engineer in Training with APEGBC since 2011. The main focus of my career to date has been in the mining industry. My mining experience includes concept and environmental assessment studies, geotechnical and water management design, permit support for domestic and international clients. My professional experience spans projects in North America, Europe and Africa.My primary focus over the last 12 months has been on the design and construction supervision of a fully lined Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) and associated civil infrastructure for an operational mine in Mexico. This has been a challenging and rewarding experience working with local Mexican contractors and highly experienced North American consultants.

I worked with Bam Civil for 6 months as a studnet engineer in 2009. I worked on a 6km dual carriage way which bypasses a busy town in Ireland. I worked closely with the senior engineer in all aspects of the project and gained experience in a broad range of engineering and construction activities. My main duties and responsibilities were:• Supervision and managing of earthworks, steel and concrete sub-contractors.• Setting out for earthworks & bridge abutments.• Reporting site progress to Senior Engineer’s and Design Team• Monitoring Health & Safety.• Casting concrete cubes and & recording results.• Managing the construction sequences of roundabouts, drainage and bitumen wearing course,• Undertaking and reporting of as-built site surveys.
