I am a partner in ZEK’s litigation group and co-head of ZEK’s Israel practice. ZEK is a midsize US law firm based in NY with additional offices in New Jersey, Connecticut, Washington DC and Tel Aviv. I am a certified foreign attorney with the Israeli Bar Association and helped ZEK achieve the accomplishment of being the very first law firm to be certified as a foreign law firm.I have assisted the firm in expanding its operations in Israel including work with Israeli clients on a wide variety of U.S. legal issues such as litigation, banking regulations, compliance and other regulatory issues, corporate matters, acquisitions, SEC filings, employment and real estate. I work with a large and prominent network of Israeli business and legal contacts for the mutual benefit of ZEK’s clients and Israeli and other international organizations.I have significant experience and an active practice in representing large domestic and international companies and financial institutions in complex and high stakes U.S. and cross-border litigation, arbitration and mediation including litigation involving: complicated corporate governance issues; large global estate disputes; judgment enforcement; loan agreements; restrictive covenants; commercial technology agreement disputes; shareholder disputes; class-action defense lawsuits; and prosecuting commercial mortgage and UCC lien foreclosures. I have provided U.S. expert legal opinions in international legal matters.I have a great deal of experience in asset tracing and international discovery, including 28 USC § 1782 (“1782”), in assisting clients to obtain discovery in the U.S. in aid of foreign proceedings. I have successfully represented numerous clients in high profile 1782 matters including court appointed receivers, large multi-national corporations, and high net worth individuals. I am the author of numerous articles on 1782 and have spoken at international seminars on this subject.
