Daniel is the creator, owner and Managing Director of Deaf Student Solutions, the UK’s leading one-stop support solution for all hearing impaired and D/deaf students. Daniel is an excellent communicator, qualifying at The University of Leeds with a Postgraduate Certificate in BSL(British Sign Language)/English and at The University of Lancashire with a Postgraduate Diploma in BSL/English Interpreting. He is a member of Visual Language Professionals (VLP) and has worked in the deaf community since 2006 and provided tailored BSL services to the Deaf community since 2008.Based in the North West, but with a national reach, Deaf Student Solutions specialise in providing BSL based services that empowers students whilst supporting Universities, comprehensively ensuring full and equal access for all further and higher education requirements. Deaf Student Solutions prides itself on working closely with Disability Advisors and Assessment Centres to help raise Deaf awareness, sharing our knowledge regarding some of the complexities that can arise when providing support services to the hearing impaired and D/deaf community. There are many different types of support that students may need, we can support the entire process to increase the likelihood that the best possible support is being given from the outset.
