About Daniel Rudolph

The practice of peace is woven into all parts of my life. The food I eat and how I eat it. My relationships, both human and non-human. The ways I spend my time and energy. The work I do. Each act (thought and word) is connected to the peace and well-being of all living beings across space and time. I'm not perfect, and am learning each day. I have over nine years of experience working for non-profit and international development organizations, including working with the Ecoversities, Barefoot College, Peace Corps and MAPLE Monastic Academy. In each of these roles I have held leadership and/or project coordinator positions, which required working closely with executives and leading cross-cultural, delivery (and heart) focused teams, both remotely and in-person. Personally, I deeply enjoy the relational, creative and detail oriented aspects that this work entails!Playfulness, contemplative practice and experiential learning have been core elements of my personal and professional journey. Personally, I have learned how to adapt, observe and respond through living in many different settings including; New York, rural Thailand, Beijing, rural India and rural Vermont. For close to 3 years I had the privilege of training in a monastic program, which included deep meditation practice (3+ hrs a day), expert guidance and monthly retreats (up to 15 hours a day of meditation). While at the monastery I also studied, practiced and offered playfulness (clowning) and juggling workshops in my free time. It has been beautiful to see the synergy between playfulness and mindfulness practice. Whether directly, or more subtly, I value integrating these qualities into the work that I do and have been doing so for over 10 years! This integration of playfulness and mindfulness has led to the emergence of a wider offering, Unified Playfulness. Since 2021I have been offering workshops, retreats and courses and have the intention to continue offering this more widely. If your team might be interested in a retreat/workshop, you in a course or 1-on-1 coaching, feel free to reach out or schedule a free consultation call. Currently, I am working with the Transitions Networks part timers the Operations Coordinator for the Hearts Hubs Circle (https://transitionnetwork.org/news/abrir-e-fechar-de-ciclos/). I am continuing to seek additional part-time remote work that is aligned with my values and vision for the future. If you think I might be a god fit for your team and/or aware of any opportunities, please let me know (danrudolph108@gmail.com).
