Serve in the role of Security Manager at Six Flags and oversee all operational functions related to the safe and effective operation of the Security department.Position to recruit, train, oversee, rebuild, and provide guidance to the operation of over 100+ security officer’s and guest ambassadors. Manage front-end operations to ensure friendly and safe transactions at entry and exit points in and around all facilities while making guests feel safe.Prepare, track and communicate Security stats and trends. Review, manage and update the parks key and lock program. Maintain the functionality of the security department by writing policies, training, recruiting, completing monthly financial forecasting, and building DEP budgets for upcoming years, as well as certifying Officers in State De-escalation and Use of Force training while maintaining daily stat and report databases.Also serving in the role as communication liaison between all State and Federal public safety agencies which include County Police, NED, JTTF, FBI, HMLS.Maintain departmental records and paperwork in compliance with the Six Flags Record Retention policy.Establish and enforce security procedures for the protection of company and employee property.Recruit and hire seasonal security, special services, and county police officers for daily operation.Enforce all park policies, local, and federal laws and maintain all Six Flags standards.Responsible for park’s building security systems and alarms.Train Sr. Leadership and Managers in all aspects of Verbal Judo, De-escalation Techniques, Terrorist Threat Management, Security Awareness & Vigilancefor Everyone Instructor, Active Shooter and Suspicious Activity protocols and contributed to significant improvements in guest satisfaction and experiences.Assist in implementing a new Security Procedures and Policies program which included a 36 hour training program as well as FTO program.Manage a labor and expense budget exceeding $2 million.
