Within my time as both a sales Associate and Department Coordinator working for TJX companies, I have a built an aptitude for providing quality customer service in addition to interpersonal skills from interacting with coworkers and customers alike. As a Department Coordinator, I worked very closely to manage work efforts of associates within my my department to meet merchandising deadlines as well as to encourage associates to work together as a cohesive unit effectively .When it comes to my accomplishments, I was a member of an academic group that made it to the the final five groups in the Jackson Rainy business plan competition out of one hundred participating groups. In this competition, each group had to construct a comprehensive business plan geared towards presentation to investors where we address operations, organizational structure, rough sales forecasting, construction of accounting documents as well as financial ratios, and a marketing plan for the first year of operation for our proposed business. After graduating college, I moved on to take an opportunity to work at Ruppert Landscape as an estimator. In this position. I am responsible for bidding work, reviewing construction plans and specifications as well as communicating with our clients and vendors to provide the required materials and labor to provide accurate pricing for any given job. Skills that I have honed in my time in this position are time management, interpersonal skills, attention to detail and organization. In addition to this, I have gained experience in day to day operations within an office environment.
