Project Manager
CurrentFinish Move LLC is a company that flips homes, or renovates homes into rental properties. I worked as a paid intern here and became a project manager in the summer of 2024. I worked as a project manager primarily for full service vinyl plank floor installs. This means the job included purchasing the planks, taking out the old flooring, leveling the floor if needed, undercutting door jambs, cleaning the bare floor before install, taking measurements of the floor to plan out the most ideal spot to start the floor (sometimes this mean not just measuring one room but measuring multiple if the floor was going to extend into two rooms with no threshold), laying any underlayment if needed, determining ideal cuts to make at the start (to avoid rows that end with a sliver of a plank), firmly securing the first rows of the floor, laying the floor, scribing, and cutting, any odd angles to cut or door jambs to get underneath, using various saws to cut planks, cutting and installing baseboard and or base shoe, and making sure everyone was paid fairly.
