Enlisted in the United States Navy on August 6, 1985. Obtained rating of Aviation Mechanic Structures in 1986. Attained Level II Non-Destructive Inspection Technician in December 1989 and supported Naval Aviation, Marine Corps Aviation and the Navy's Assault Air Landing Cushion (LCAC) units from 1989 to 2005. Worked for Pacific Ship Repair and Fabrication from April 2006 to July 2014 as a Level II NDT certified in Visual, Magnetic Partical and Dye Penetrant inspection. My goal is to move beyond field inspection towards Quality Assurance management. I want to work for an employer that stresses continue education, cross-training and motivates employees to see the value of enhancing an employers reputation for long term growth and success. Quality is the key to having an established company reputation, you can not have growth without customers and you can't attract or keep customers without a viable Quality Assurance commitment.
