During my time at Lost Canyons I learned how to work as a team. Teamwork is very important in this type of environment and understanding how to work as a unit was a crucial aspect of the job. I started as a busboy and helped setup events, such as weddings, banquets, dinners and special events. These events would usually include guests from 100-250 people. I had to setup dance floors, tables, chairs, and many other decorations, which were unique to the event (ex. Halloween, Mardi Gras, & birthdays). I eventually worked my way up to be a waiter, which helped improve my people skills, task management, and problem solving. This job was vital to help inculcate the strong work ethic, mindset, and attitude I have today.
