I am tasked with identifying appropriate personal and professional growth opportunities for players and their support systems, including partners and their families. - Implement key strategies and achieve key measurements as detailed in the Football Department business plan- Facilitate new/drafted players Induction and transition program- Manage the relocation and housing program process of new players- In conjunction with admin/pastoral support oversee the housing program- Coordinate new parents meet and greets/Club welcomes and Induction post draft- Maintain ongoing parents contact- Identify issues which require external support/assistance and act as a referral to the external support.- Ensure the confidentiality of the process- Coordinate and design the 1st year players program- Implementation of other relevant AFLPA player education initiatives- Delivery of other as required education programs- Utilising the SWANS MAX360 process develop and maintain up to date action plans that support players off-field development- Coordinate regular reviews of these action plans- In the event of a player related on-field / off-field incident, provide support to the affected player/s.- Coordinate delisted player transition- Assist with post football career planning- Conduct exit interviews with de-listed players Show less
