About Daniel Fong
A Full Stack Developer well versed in an assortment of frontend and backend technologies and languages (PHP/Laravel, Java/Spring, Javascript/Node.js/Express/React). Experience building complete web applications with backend API systems. Portfolio: https://daniel-fong.github.io/portfolio/I've always loved puzzles and problem solving, and without a doubt web development provides a cornucopia of both. But that only explains a fraction of the magnetism of the field for me. Apart from the constant challenge, I enjoy learning about new technologies and languages and expanding my breadth and depth of knowledge on a daily basis. I enjoy working on both sides of the stack, because they both have unique obstacles and methodologies to overcome them. Frontend projects allow me to be more expressive, and I enjoy being able to visually appraise a finished product. At the same time Backend projects I find reward methodical planning and organization, and it is satisfying to successfully create tables and router endpoints that are structurally sensible. My goal as a developer is to never stop learning and progressing, and to push the envelope on a daily basis, adding new frameworks and languages to my arsenal while deepening my knowledge of those I already work in.
