Daniel Sladek is the Emmy Award & PGA Award nominated Executive Producer of the critically acclaimed and award-winning movie Prayers for Bobby starring Sigourney Weaver, winner of the 2010 GLAAD and Entertainment Industry Council PRISM Awards. In 2018, Sladek Co-Executive Produced VH1’s Ricky Martin: Behind The Vegas Residency. In 2016, he was Consulting Producer on the FOX reality series Q'viva! starring Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony & director Jamie King from Simon Fuller's XIX. Daniel Sladek has produced / executive produced numerous films including USA's Sub Down, Dimension Films’ Hidden Assassin and Russell Mulcahy’s Tale of the Mummy, HBO's Silent Trigger, Mar Vista’s Thank Heaven and was co-producer of NBC's The Shari Karney Story and Republic Pictures'​ Mad At The Moon. Sladek was also executive in charge of production on HBO's Wedlock, Universal Pictures’ Foreign Student, USA Network's Voyage and the critically-acclaimed Nobody's Children starring Ann Margret. A longtime talent manager, he has managed the careers of actors, writers and directors, notably Sir Christopher Lee, Alexandra Paul, Ian Bannen, Sir Ian Richardson, National Book Award and NY Times best-selling author James Carroll and his longtime client 'Variety's Billion Dollar Tour Director' JamieKing (Madonna; Cirque du Soleil’s MJ One, Rihanna, Britney Spears and more). Early in his career, Sladek was Vice President, Development & Production at Ed Snider & Michael Jaffe’s Spectacor Films, Senior Vice President of Quinta USA & General Partner and President of Production at Cine Grande Films. He also lectured at UCLA’s UNEX on careers in the entertainment industry and international co-production & distribution. Sladek is the recipient of the PFLAG Entertainment Industry Leadership Award, among others, and is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. He studied film at the University of Colorado, Boulder and is a Producer Fellow of the American Film Institute. He has appeared as a guest panelist at the European Parliament, Outfest, the Sundance Film Festival, & the CU Conference on World Affairs.
