• Operate as the lead test engineer to plan, design, and implement multiple component level to full-scaled automated tests running simultaneously for residential and commercial lawnmowers along with utility vehicles.• Design test fixtures for long lasting durability with efficient processes for automated testing.• Experience with ANSYS for stress analysis. • Experience with ANSYS for modal analysis.• Directly engage and communicate daily with internal customers to support on-going and future programs by providing detailed reports, presentations, and status updates.• Deliver technical presentations to internal and external customers regarding results and test outcomes.• Supervise, train, and direct shop technicians to fulfill test program deliverables.• Work with hardware equipment such as Siemens LMS SCADAS, National Instruments compact data acquisition and compact reconfigurable input/output PLC, and Arduinos.• Retrieve data using various sensors including but not limited to strain gauges, pressor transducers, potentiometers, laser tachometers, thermocouples, proximity sensors, and load cells.• Digital signal processing and post processing of data using nCode Glyphworks for damage/life, stress, strain, and frequency responses.• Use of pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, and simulated systems for testing. • Design tests using 0-30VDC and 110-220VAC electrical systems with electromechanical components such as motors, VFDs, actuators, and solenoids/relays, using din rail components for control cabinets

• Project planning and management • Design and edit engineering drawings for aircraft and vehicle electrical wire harnesses and components using CAD and CATIA V5.• Create and edit procedures, processes, spreadsheets, bill of materials, and other engineering documents• Build and test prototypes for customers• Build and test first article components • Train shop floor workers on new machines, assemblies, and processes• Conduct various testing including electrical wire harnesses and pcb boards, thermal, and load testing• Design and manufacture tooling for electrical and machine products• Use tools such as chop saws, table saws, skilsaws, bandsaws, drill presses, bench grinders, solder guns
