I had the privilege of working with the City of Hamilton in the French department, where I successfully undertook and completed two impactful projects. The first endeavor involved orchestrating a celebratory event tailored to the vibrant French community. This entailed conducting weekly collaborative meetings and innovating ideas that held potential value for the project's success.The second initiative revolved around addressing the pressing need for senior citizens to have internet access, particularly during the pandemic. Our solution encompassed the distribution of tablets and the development of a comprehensive course to empower them with digital literacy skills. Through this project, we enabled senior citizens to embrace the digital world and stay connected during challenging times.From this immersive experience, I garnered invaluable lessons. Among the many cherished moments, one stood out: I overcame my inherent apprehension of public speaking and interaction. In those earlier days, my confidence was limited, but this undertaking taught me the profound impact of genuine connection. I learned that people are receptive and open, provided you approach them with respect and empathy, even more so when your propositions resonate with their needs.
