  The Center for Gaming Innovation focuses on the future of games, primarily for casino gambling but also for casual and social gaming. Our primary goal is to teach the fundamentals of game design to work with UNLV's best and brightest students to help them imagine, develop, and realize the games of the future. In five years, the CGI has launched several student Start Ups and has twenty patents issued for new gaming technology.
