•Liaise with Federal, State, & Local regulatory authorities such as LASEPA, NESREA, Federal Ministry of Labor & Employment, SON, LSSC, MOE, Fire Service, etc., on health safety and environmental issues.• Coordinate all environmental studies such as Environmental Audit (EA), industrial hygiene monitoring, and ensuring timely renewal of regulatory permits/certificates as at when due.• Establish Occupational Health and Safety policies, goals, and objectives, and develop plans to achieve them.•Carryout safety induction for new workers & contractors, toolbox talks & monthly trainings•Conduct investigations on incidents/accidents and near misses, prepare reports proposing root cause and remedial measures to prevent a recurrence• Develop and review risk assessment, Job Hazard Analysis, work method statement, and issuance of Permit-to-work• Coordinate and participate in safety audits and inspections.
