Responsible for day-to-day operations and all business functions of the Chamber and Marathon Visitor Center. Work for/with the Chamber’s Board of Directors to accomplish business goals and carry-out such responsibilities as directed by the Board. Manage staff of 6-8 as well as volunteers. Sit on all chamber committees and Co-Chair of the Marathon Economic Development Council and Red Carpet Tours Program. Manage annual operating budget of $1 million in addition to Chamber's annual fundraiser and largest local event, The Marathon Seafood. Serving as a volunteer Director on the Board of Directors for the Monroe County (FL Keys) Chapter of the FRLA. An amazing statewide organization dedicated to advocating and supporting our hospitality industry, most specifically restaurants and lodging businesses and their dedicated staff.

Post hurricane Irma in 9/2017, began working with our EOC within the business/economic recovery sector, representing all FL Keys chamber of commerce. Currently still proud to serve in this important role should the need arise via any emergency situation (storm, pandemic, other).

Served on Fishermen's Community Hospital (FCH) Board of Trustees as Treasurer, Vice Chairman, and most recently Chairman. Board is a voluntary community-based that owned and oversaw operations of the hospital. Responsibilities include oversight of all financials ($50M+ annual budget); executive officers/management, and overall direction of FCH. FCH is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality, comprehensive healthcare within the Middle and entire Florida Keys.Recently oversaw, helped negotiate, and complete the sale of FCH to Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF) who now wholly owns and operates FCH. BHSF is also a not-for-profit hospital operator with some of the highest ratings in the country.

Work with businesses as well as athletes to improve performance. Use performance management techniques/strategies with businesses to improve employee performance via defining, tracking, providing feedback, and rewarding specific performance measures.Work with athletes using sports performance/mental training to improve performance "on the field" via concentration, sport-confidence, and anxiety-control training. Positive results both in business and in sports through performance management and sport psychology training.

Duties consisted of counseling/working with families; specifically engaging in crisis counseling. Additionally responsible for placement of children within the Monroe County foster care system that were removed from their homes by law enforcement and/or the Dept. of Children & Families.
