Built, finished, and installed permanent and touring exhibits for science museums around the country. Designed, created, and tested prototypes for interactive exhibits. Represented the Exhibit Department on an HR working group addressing the topic of race in the workplace, employee hiring and retention, and the relationship of the museum to the community.

Developed and implemented projects to remodel and maintain 22 historic buildings, in accordance with regulations concerning buildings on the National Register of Historic Places. Maintained woodshop, ordered materials and tools, and trained carpenters. Trained and supervised a volunteer industrial fire brigade, and led response to fire incidents. Coordinated maintenance for equipment including sprinklers, fire extinguishers, and fire alarm systems. Oversaw safety training necessary for a village located many hours away from any definitive medical care, and stocked safety equipment for the village.Supervised a regular work crew of 5-8 staff in performing labor and construction projects around the village. Organized regular projects with 150+ volunteers. Coordinated tasks to support other village hospitality and operations work areas. Staff reported very high satisfaction with my management.

Performed condition assessments and inventories for structural and ornamental elements of Unity Temple, a building designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and National Historic Landmark, for repair. Assisted in research of contractors. Researched and conducted cleaning for stained-glass lay lights.
