U.S. Navy Veteran, USS CALIFORNIA (CGN-36) 1987-1991. Proud to have served alongside the sailors who protected U.S. interests in the Persian Gulf War. Graduated cum laude at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. My professional career has largely been focused in the electric and gas utility industry with National Grid, previously KeySpan and Boston Gas. Most of these 20 years have been in sales. Sales is not what I do- it's who I am. Completing a mutually beneficial transaction in sales is the engine of our economy. I was also fortunate to work with a team of talented professionals in Resource Planning which broadened my understanding of the gas company's mandated responsibilities. Prior to working for the utility I worked for Hertz as a branch manager in Quincy and then in Dorchester. Part of me misses the fast pace, competitive business in the auto industry. I sold active-wear apparel in my first year out of college and drove around New England cold calling ski shops and college bookstores. I sold their clothing faster than they could sew.I work to support my family. My motivation to work could not be any greater for I am blessed. On a personal note I enjoy playing music with my friends and occasionally perform.
