Currently employed as mill control room operator. Previous two years I worked as shut down coordinator and Newcrest operating frameworkspecialist (standardised work practice across sites) for the underground department. Thisinvolved the construction and implementation of both long and short term schedules for useby the underground maintenance department in order to achieve set targets. Involved withdelivery of inductions for shutdown contractors and co-ordinating contractors once onsite. Also assisting OHS on site with PEER observation deployment. Involved in proceduralwriting within maintenance department as well as construction and maintenance of trainingmatrix.

Monitor movements of equipment (Pitram) and ore as well as monitoring thecrusher, ventilation, dewatering, and chilling system via DCS, PLC and Pitram computersystems. Relay information to shift bosses and monitor ore levels and assign trucks andloaders to maximise output.Advise shift boss of changes in conditions and possibilities for performance improvement.Responsible for initiating emergency response and underground evacuation if necessary.Monitor underground activity via DX64 2way consoleReport shift production and safety issues to management/foremen.

Six months spent in crusher control room. Responsible for operation of crusher,lube systems, conveyors and stacking. Prior to that worked on the processing plant on reagent, copper filtration and elutioncircuits. Worked in Perth office on creating an isolation database.
