I am a UX/UI Designer with a background in mechanical design engineering. My background in Mechanical Design has provided me with the visual principles for a seamless transition in UX/UI and Web Design. Throughout my career, I have worked with a variety of clients ranging from startups to large corporations. I bring a unique sixteen years of experience in custom manufacturing through working with my hands in the shop to working in the office in various engineering departments. Through my experience, I have fostered collaboration and consistency across teams by working closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and customers. My refined problem solving skills and communication skills have been fostered through my daily interactions with co-workers and customers. My artistic ability initially began my path into studying art to where it then led me to a more modern way of expressing my creativity through computer design. Through my education and experience, I have created user-centric experiences to deliver effective design solutions while catering to diverse user needs. My focus is creating intuitive and emotionally resonant user experiences by connecting with the users on a deeper level through my superb customer service. I design clean, creative, and intuitive digital designs. My key strengths lie in problem-solving, versatility, creative direction, and seamless collaboration. I look forward to combining my manufacturing design background knowledge with user-focused principals to the next product team. I’m very passionate about this new career field and I am eager to continue to grow my skill set.
