As the CEO of Black Semiconductor, I have been leading the development and commercialization of a novel technology that integrates photonics and electronics on a single chip, using graphene as the key material. With a Dr.-Ing. degree in Elektrotechnik from RWTH Aachen University and over 13 years of experience as a researcher and group leader at AMO GmbH, I have a strong background and expertise in silicon photonics, electro-optical devices, and semiconductor fabrication.My mission is to create a versatile and high-performance platform that can enable various applications in data communication, sensing, computing, and quantum technologies. By leveraging the unique properties of graphene, such as tunable optical conductivity, ultrafast response, and compatibility with CMOS processes, we can achieve unprecedented levels of integration, functionality, and scalability.
