Dan is a civil and environmental engineer with more than 20 years of experience in water resources, stream restoration, bank stabilization, stormwater and water quality treatment, civil site design, construction management, environmental engineering, and remediation. With a background in both the environmental and civil engineering disciplines he brings intrinsic value based on his ability to integrate the scientific fields of chemistry, biology, and ecology into the traditional civil aspects of water resources and stormwater management. He has extensive experience working on numerous river and creek sites for environmental cleanups, restoration, bank stabilization, outfall improvements, fish passage, and water quality facilities. Dan leads multidisciplinary projects, prepares engineering plans, specifications, bid packages and navigates all aspects of project permitting, from land use to federal and state required in-water work permits, including coordination with the USACE, NOAA Fisheries, and Fish and Wildlife.
