A Company set up by the family, that started off servicing the entertainment industry through a variety of vending services. The Company grew into the operations and had around 1500 various vending machines in the local market. My job was to tend to customers, overlook repairs and servicing, and build a workforce to accommodate the growth within the Company.The vending sector grew so rapidly that it was eventually snapped up by another vending company. Even during the vending activity, the Company had started branching out into other areas; mainly the importation of a variety of equipment, with the aim to service governmental or local council tenders. Equipment ranged from street furniture, playground equipment and safety surfacing, sports equipment. and now also paving material. Following numerous successful tenders, the Company decided to also tender for larger projects that including embellishment of recreational areas and gardens. Lately we have added a selection of paving materials for outdoor projects, which tied in extremely well with our embellishment projects.

Brand development. Developed brand strategy and statistics systems.Strategic Consulting, including business plan & sales strategy development.Advising new businesses on formation of corporations and business structures, drafting privacy policies and structuring commercial transactions.

A further involvement in the entertainment, leisure and catering business. A direct involvement in the day-to-day running of a club and bar/restaurant, and also the responsibility of the financials of the Company.

• Market research and development of amusement and various gaming equipment, with the last years having a main focus on slots and VLT’s. • Sourcing and identification of ideal products for specific markets, mainly directed to the Maltese Industry, but also a minor involvement in other markets.• Main negotiator of various agreements, leading to associations and partnerships with major worldwide companies for the purchase, supply and operations of gaming equipment.• Extensive travelling to various exhibitions all over the world, and to various manufacturers and operators within the industry. These travels helped me gain first hand experience from other Companies and other professional set ups; exposing me to a large variety of products and also a vast number of ideas. • Direct involvement in the development of major gaming, hospitality, catering and entertainment outlets, which involvment included budgeting, purchasing, construction management and completion and finishing stages, staff sourcing and empoyment, management and staff training and operative organisation.• Hands on approach – ensuring a complete business profile and management/staff performance.
